Future Technologies designs, builds, sells, installs and supports comprehensive, cost-effective wireless LAN solutions. Our vertically integrated approach enables expert customer support, anytime, anywhere, with a single contact. Future Technologies has continued to grow with the WiFi 802.11 a/b/g technology arena. Our expert knowledge and experience with 802.11 a/b/g products have met each of our customer’s design and implementation specifications. Future Technologies has achieved multiple projects that are both unique to the customer requirements and have initiated state of the art deployments of the manufacturer’s product set. The 802.11 architectural design and access point implementation for the US Postal Service has been performed with several stages including the upgrade and replacement of the point to point 802.11 Breezecom Radios to Cisco series 1400 bridges, the design and implementation of Cisco 1231 AP’s and most recently the design and implementation of the Cisco Light Weight Access Point Protocol (LWAPP) for dozens of Distribution Facilities for use with the RFID tagging tools. Future Technologies was awarded the AAFES EU and PAC design and implementation project which has begun in the summer of 2006. This project includes the utilization of our Senior Network CCNA/CCDA and LAN Support Specialist to advise, design and implement the 802.11 wireless technologies that will support the AAFES advanced growth with POS, RFID and PDA wireless product sets. Present and future customers with one or more of the following characteristics are ideal for wireless networking:
Mobility: Wireless LAN systems can provide LAN users with access to real-time information Installation Speed and Simplicity: Installing a wireless LAN system can be fast and easy and can eliminate the need to pull cable through walls and ceilings. Reduced Cost-of-Ownership: While the initial investment required for wireless LAN hardware can be higher than the cost of wired LAN hardware, overall installation expenses and life-cycle costs can be significantly lower. Long-term cost benefits are greatest in dynamic environments requiring frequent moves and changes. Scalability |
